if jesus got a second chance

(background story: was a gloomy afternoon in dessau. something had to be done. then came the status message, if jesus was an architect, would jerusalem be a new town, and then began the flurry of possibilities, and lo and behold... this was written...) apologies to peoples religious sentiments but this was an opportunity i couldn't pass.

if jesus got a second chance, what would he have done?
would he still be the saviour of men, or would he just watch the fun?

if jesus was an architect would jerusalem be a new town?
would it be a functional city or would it be new babylon?
would it have a church at the center, or a huge open land?
would the city have guards at its gates, or kids at lemonade stands?

if he was a web designer would the bible be in flash?
would the bible be searchable, and cross indexed
or would it be a pdf, with bold images and sans-serif text.
would he use web safe fonts, or would they just be friendly?

if jesus was a photographer, what would he do then?
how would he respond to the call of children and of men?
would he hold an exhibition of sad, hungry faces and say dont?
or would he photograph a smiling kid and show?

if the son of god was a movie maker, would he be any good?
would he make schindlers lists and pray they all understood.
or would he make mindless comedies, so all could laugh and play
forget their worries, make someone smile, even if just for a day.

if jesus was an investment banker, would we be in a crisis?
would we still have credit cards and absurd war taxes?
would we have to have a savings plan, or would that become obsolete?
would we still be working for money, and warming a worthless seat?

if jesus was to be born again, would anyone really care?
would anyone listen to him, or would they throw a disapproving stare?
would he have to be an expert to say the things he had to say?
or could he just start a blog and there would be bloggers who would stay?

but if jesus really had a choice, would he be born again?
would he want to step in this world of lies and deceit, or would he step off the plane?
would he much rather not get in this dimension altogether,
and just send us friendly spam through emails?
